eCheck: Vendors can opt for direct deposit to their provided bank account using the eCheck option. It's a simple and efficient way to receive payments.
Bill Pay: With the Bill Pay option, vendors can receive paper checks mailed to the address on file. This traditional method offers convenience for those who prefer physical checks.
Instant Pay: AppFolio introduces Instant Pay, a new option for vendors who want their payments expedited. Instant Pay eliminates the typical bank processing time, ensuring vendors receive their funds promptly.

Vendors can conveniently set payment preferences from their settings or work order details page.
Within the Vendor Portal, service vendors can now customize their payment preferences. Whenever a vendor logs into their Vendor Portal, they'll find the option to update how they receive payments. Once they make their selection, these preferences will seamlessly sync with your database. This ensures that next time you process payments, their chosen preference will be automatically applied.
Introducing Instant Pay
Vendors have the option to receive payments even faster with Instant Pay! This feature bypasses the usual bank processing time, ensuring vendors get their money promptly.
When vendors opt for Instant payments, it's still a standard eCheck payment withdrawal from your bank account. Here's how it works:
From the property manager's point of view:
Standard eCheck payment withdrawal from your bank account.
A standard $1 eCheck fee applies.
From the vendor's point of view:
Instant availability of funds in the vendor's bank account after you issue the payment.
A 1.75% fee is paid by the vendor for this expedited service.
